I agree. Forget about him for awhile (as hard as that may be to do) Under no circumstances should you bug him with phone calls, texts or emails. This will only drive him further away from you.
Focus on becoming a better you for a couple of months and give him a chance to miss you (he will). Then you can decide if you still really want him back. Play a little hard to get when he comes back around (not too hard though) and you’ll be fine.
