How should I go about getting back with my ex girlfriend?

My girlfriend and I broke up earlier this month. I’ve been thinking a lot about her and I want her back. I know she still cares for me but I’m not sure how I should approach her. Any ideas?

   Ask her if she is seeing someone lately ? Ask her out and she whether she will accept it ?
