It is possible to win your love back. Here is a very good example of such a thing.

Susan made a huge mistake. She ran across her long time boyfriend Kyle talking to her good friend Katie and thought that they two of them were flirting. Because of this Susan really got worked up and ended the relationship with Kyle.

What really was going on however is that Kyle was asking Katie for advice on a romantic valentine’s date he was planning. This lack of trust on Susan’s part really hurt him and as a result really didn’t want anything to do with her after this happened.

After a sticky situation like this you may think it’s not possible to win your love back, but that’s exactly what Susan did.

Because Kyle was so angry at her, talking it over was out of the question. This did not stop her from reaching out however and she wrote him a letter. Susan found some nice looking paper and wrote out a heartfelt apology by hand. In it she conceded that she overreacted and went over all the things she liked about their relationship. She then ended the letter by thanking him for being so thoughtful in planning the perfect date for them.

After the letter was sent she didn’t reach out any more. Even though she wanted to pick up the phone or send a text message she knew that time was needed to let his emotions come out.

After about a week’s time had passed she sent a quick follow-up in the form of a brief “you’re always on my mind” email, making sure to keep it very casual.

It was obvious that Kyle really cared about Susan, why else would he take the time to plan a romantic Valentine’s date? This is why he was so hurt by what happened. Because of Susan’s patience in letting him have his space he soon replied to the casual email Susan sent.

That very night that he received the email Kyle picked up the phone and called Susan. She was excited to hear from him but decided to keep things lighthearted and not go into what happened. Kyle really appreciated this and made the suggestion that they both go out for coffee, and Susan agreed.

Susan really wanted to impress Kyle so she spent a lot of time looking her best.  She picked out a necklace Kyle had gotten for her birthday, and wore his favorite perfume.

Susan made the decision before hand that she would stay positive and would only focus on the good times. She asked how his family was doing, and reminisced about fond memories.

Kyle really appreciated the light hearted and happy conversations they had. He had always loved Susan and never wanted the relationship to come to an end. He was still concerned with what happened however, and didn’t want to be hurt like that again.

They both came to the conclusion that they should take it slow to start. In a way start over and re-approach the whole thing. This really helped them from taking each other from granted.

One year on, Susan and Kyle realized that the break up was probably the best thing to happen to their relationship and in the long run saved it. Even though Susan lost her cool early on, her level headed approach to the situation made it possible to move past it. She definitely showed that no matter how bad it seems you can win your love back.
