How many christian girls really save themselves for marriage? and if so, at what age did you get married?
and just because you don’t doesn’t mean you’re not a christian.
I am a christian and i didn’t wait for marriage. but i read on someone elses question on yahoo answers something regarding this and a lot of people answered that if they have premarital sex then they are not a christian. which is bs. so i was just asking.

Actually, a large scale survey was done on this.
95% of americans have had premarital sex. And, given that only 97% have had sex at all (a few percent of us are asexual and have no interest or ability), that means that 98% of people who have the capability and partner, have had premarital sex.
there is no correlation between religion and rates of premarital sex. i.e. just as prevalent amongst evangelical christians, atheists, protestants, etc. The only difference appears to be how guilty they feel about the act.
I’m a christian and I am saving myself for marriage. I’m 18, almost 19.
no one has the stats on that and it isnt your concern..
first marriage 21 and I was not a virgin..
a better question would be:
"how many of those marriages ended in divorce, the parties engaged in extramarital affairs or just claim to be plain unhappy?"
my guesstimate for that based upon common sense would be close to 100% but not 100%.
Most humans don’t. That rule is silly and archaic.
lol… I’m certainly not…
I waited until marriage; I was 31 when I got married. It wasn’t easy, but it was well worth it. It was something very special that was shared only with my husband. He was glad I waited. We’ve been married 11+ happy years.
Out of all my Christian friends, some who had sex before marriage have had unfaithful spouses or been unfaithful themselves and are either separated or divorced. Those who waited are still married, one of them for over 18 years.
I’m a 31 year old Christian man of God. I’ve had about 5 serious relationships in the past and all have ended because of trust and sexual issues. I have even had to break an engagement because my ex finance cheated on me and lied about her sexual experience several times. I’m choosing to abstain from sex before marriage because it is God’s commandment to me. God’s way works, people who are fine with sex before marriage must deal with things that can be avoided. My body and sexual commitment is a gift for my wife and vice versa. No one said this is easy.
