What do I say to my Ex boyfriend to show im interested in getting back together?

We were dating before and we broke due to his scedule increasing leaving him busy and without time to be in a relationship. Now things are different and he is more available. What can I say to get him back other than just saying "I want to get back together" I feel this statement is too strong.

First, I trust that the schedule is really different and that it wasn’t just an excuse when the 2 of you broke up, fs966.
I’d suggest saying something like, "I’ve been thinking lately about how much fun we used to have together." That would kind of open the door and give him an opportunity to respond and give you an idea of whether he’s interested or not.
For example, if he says something like, "Yeah, I’ve been thinking about when we were together, too." – you’ll know he’s interested. While his response may not be as clear-cut as that, you can key off what he says and you haven’t committed yourself or said something that will scare him away.

I think what you should do it make some sincere contact but do not look desperate.
Just let him know that you like the time you’ve spent together and ask him for a coffee.
Then when you meet up make sure you look your best and talk about the good times you’ve had adn then let him know in no uncertain terms that you would like to get back together.
I would then leave him and wait until he gets in contact.
