still getting over an ex would it be wrong to find a rebound guy?

i still care for my ex very much who dumped me a month ago, my friends keep telling me the best way to get over someone is to occupy myself with someone else, i have tried but i seem to just talk about my ex all the time when im around other guys which is a put off. theirs is this one guy that i like, i havent mentioned my ex to him, we already seen eachother twice now, he seems sweet would it be wrong to get with him to get over my ex?

Yes, it would be wrong to use him as a rebound guy – because you clearly understand that it would be USING him, since you are still hung up on your ex. Ick. That is just plain unfair – how would YOU like to be on the other end of that, with somebody basically using you for therapy and wasting your time? The fact that you have already tried going out with others and do nothing but talk about your ex is a clear sign that you should not go out with any guy. Just because you haven’t driven this guy off yet does not mean you are ready – it just means you haven’t driven him away yet. Work your ex out of your system, and then when you are actually normal again, then you can consider dating. You are not looking at the world rationally now.
If you need help getting over your ex, then take up a hobby, or get counseling, or something. Just make sure the hobby is not "recreational dating"

Yes, it would be wrong to start seeing the guy you have a crush on in an attempt to get over your ex. It really isn’t fair to him and it doesn’t really resolve or heal the issues from your last relationship, it just transfers them or temporarily covers them. I know it sucks now but if you just ride it out for awhile and give yourself some time to get over your ex you will be a lot better for it and you will be able to start dating again with a lot less emotional baggage.
Don’t air your dirty laundry at the expense of a guy who might like you. Your friends are accurate~~yes, the best way to get over an ex is to get under another guy, and leave your ex out of it.
