Does your style in music and art reflect on your personality?

My one fiend says I listen to sad music lol, but I listen to A LOT of music, all kinds. My art is actually darker. I like the scary pictures (but the nice ones too), I LOVE scary movies and adrenaline rushes in real life. I write poetry and it’s kind of dark (about death) and it’s hard to write good love poems, although I have. But it’s wierd because I’m totally the happiest guy EVER. I am always smiling and laughing.
