how do i get my ex boyfriend to want me back?

March 1st, 2010 by admin | Filed in Ex Boyfriend Back

hey, i’m 19. me and my ex-lover who is also 19, had an honest, solid relationship. we were really close. i became unhappy in our relationship because i realized how much more mature i was than he is. i love this guy but he is so immature. i wanted to find someone who was more like me, who wanted to travel, was more mature and spiritual, looked different, etc. i started getting close to another guy, and i wanted to try having a relationship with him because i wanted to explore. my ex was my first love and i wanted to try things with this new guy. i explained everything to my boyfriend. he did NOT like this, and it hurt him. i hurt him a lot. we were so close. i wanted too much, tried to perfect my love life but it backfired and now i miss my ex so much and it made me realize how important he seriously was to me. he made me happy and i got bored and distracted by this new potential love-interest dude who turned out to be so much less than i had imagined and i lost touch with the fact that my relationship with my ex was soo great and vital to my life.
we broke up about a week and a half ago. after we broke up, me and "the new boy" hooked up. during the "hook-up", all i could think about was my ex and how much of a mistake i was making for us. it wasn’t until then that i realized all this. all i was trying to do was get an ego-boost from another dude. all i really wanted was to express myself and have other people to recognize me for being beautiful and smart and whatever else i wanted. i wanted someone to be into me and make me feel important and amazing. but it was stupid and dillusional, what i did. all i was doing was not appreciating my boyfriend and thinking all about me.
so anyway. what should i do????? or not do??? to make him want me back. because i know he still loves me, this guy was totally in love with me. and i hurt him a lot. i know he HATES cheaters. but i know that i was honest with him about this and didn’t cheat. and he admires that but i know what i did hurt. but what can i do to make him want me back regardless of that mistake i made and how do i approach him about it without seeming like i have no pride
please help thankyou for readinggg

Sometimes people get confused and make mistakes. Many couples break up and then get back together so don’t worry about it too much. Of course it all depends on what your ex thinks, but I believe you could get him back somehow. If you are serious about getting him back, check my resource.

What you have to do is show him that you did a big mistake, but you have to do that in a way that will not make him feel pity for you. There is a lot of material on relationships and breaking up out there, get as much info as possible.

Hope everything works out good for you. :)

no way im reading all that, but umm, if he doesn’t love you anymore why would you want to be with him?

i know i only want to be with someone who loves me as much as i love them.

The reality is that you cant make someone want you back.
    That decision is on him.
What you can do is talk to him, you know.
You made a mistake and learned from it.
But i mean, you have to show him, not just tell him that you are sorry.
If his feelings for you are as strong as you think, he will get back with you.
Its just part of the ups and downs that a relationship will have.
And trust is a bigg issue here, so show him that you can be trusted again.
    Good luck. =)

Your situation is very common so don’t feel bad about it. I just read an article on ezine on how to get your ex boyfriend back, I liked it so I copy the link:

I have to tell my frank opinion

what do you mean when you write "but what can i do to make him want me back " in your last para.

please remember that "he" is the victim of your folly and not "you". What is it with you people when you find someone who truly loves you and you know its true ..you want to experiment your relationships then why be in a relationship at the first place? what guarantee are you going to give that ex -boyfriend that you will not do this again? how can he trust you now? maybe tomorrow again you will say that you were better off with the new guy?. its irritating to see people like you in good relationship trying to hole it up with a hammer. have you thought what he would have gone through all the while , he must be trying to overcome all the pain that you presented to him..

if you are really sorry to what you have done to him and " respect " his emotions "truly" then wait for some time ..its just a week since your new relationship broke off..may be 6 months..i am not asking for more time for him but for you..cos you need to now focus on how such mistakes will not be repeated. also to find out weather you really like the first guy ..cos what if one more guy comes and again you change your mind..hope you got my point..

then when you have waited enough..go cry your heart out to him and say sorry the way you mean it,..

the first thing you should do is try to make him realize you have made a mistake and you are trully. that you sorry. tell him you have learn’t from your mistake and you are willing to give her your heart if is willing to take you back. please don’t be to hard and pushy on him. if he doesn’t reply give him some space cus he needs it. so just be a little subtle with him.
