How can my friend get his ex boyfriend back?

I have a gay friend who is 19, and his ex is 20. They broke up last week and my friend really wants him back but isnt sure how to do it without seeming desperste. He wants his boyfriend to come back to him, not the other way around. I’m straight so I have no idea what to tell my gay best friend.
I know it’s possible for them to get back together, because they really do love each other.

Well if your friend is really desperate, he should talk to his ex and apologize to whatever the reason they broke up and tell that if he could have a second chance to show how he really loves him..

if his ex boyfriend still loves him or loves him very much, he would be back but if not then move on. you can do everything even kill yourself but if someone doesn’t love you back, you have nothin to do with it but let go. tell your friend to ask his ex boyfriend if he still loves him and if his ex said no then all you friend has to do is let go and move on. don’t be silly.
