Would you take your ex back if you missed them?

Hi, do you think that once a cheater they always are? My cousin is letting a text message get to her that her ex sent just when she was about to move on, I tried to tell her that she did good by resisting him but she keeps thinking about him now that he is trying to come back in the picture.

i have and it was always a mistake. it is easy to go back because they are familiar territory. you dont have to bother getting to know them. but alas because of that you should know better.

Our ex’s are there for a reason. They should be left in the past where they belong. You told her the right thing, she should move on and meet new people that are right for her.
Nobody in his right mind would have left her ….and me , all is fair in love and war !
You keep telling her that ! If he loved her, he would never have cheated, she’s obviously not good enough for him in his eyes, so screw him! Do not let her go back to him, and don’t let her listen to the "baby I’ve changed I swear" bullshit either. If she goes back, I’ll give it a week before things go downhill again. She will NEVER trust him again, and without trust, relationships don’t work.
I read your whole question, and I wish I had some specific advice to offer. Have you tried posting this in the "Singles and Dating" section?
