Does anyone have anything different to say on getting your ex back?

I need him back so badly.
All I hear is the same advice on ‘not talking to him so that he misses you’. But what else can I do? I’d do anything.
Please don’t answer saying ‘move on’.
hahah I was just actually reading about this on the internet… If you want him back, don’t act needy or desperate. Also, you should keep talking to him but not clingy type. Don’t get in his business or tell him all about your life at that moment. You have to ‘plant the seed of doubt.’ if he gets the idea that you’re moving on… he might attempt to bring you back.
it’s probably different though if you broke up with him and not the other way around.
