I love my ex again but her boyfriend is blocking out our love for each other?

I have an ex, lets rename her Maggie. I love her a lot, and she already has a new boyfriend now and I dunno how to get her back even if they break up. On Facebook she says to text her, but I don’t know if I should or not. She says were friends again, but I dunno how to ask her out if she’s single again. How do I get her to like me back without annoying her?
