Why do guys get over relationships so quick?

It seems like guys don’t even care when a relationship ends. 20 mins later their hanging out with their boys like nothing happened. The next night their back on the dating scene. Girls will cry about it for weeks.

If they did … we would think they’re gay.
If they are over it so quickly they had no emotional connection to the girl. Though if they did have some pain about the break… They wouldn’t talk about it.
sometimes for a guy its an act they put to not show vulnerability but ive seen gtuys that get so freakn emotional its not weeks but months! and then theres the other ones that dont care and they tend to be asses..
well it depends on the guy…i guess most of the guys try to play it off but they do get hurt..unless they were the one that dumped the girl…but i think it also has to do with girls hormons..and usually girls put their all into a relationship and therefor it hurts us more in the endd….and that guys are always insecure and feel like they have to put a persona for everyone around them that women are expendable to them….but those are just the jackass’s that havent grown up yet
And us as girls we deserve BETTERRR:)!

well i am a guy and the girl i have been with for two years just dumped me…. she said she needed space and that she just wanted to be sinle for a while….i love her more than anything and i am not over the break up i cant move on from her because she means the world to me….. we broke up almost two months ago and i am still miserable…. i think that when guys get over a re;ationship quick its because they werent in it for the long run they were in it for the physical only…. anyways thats my opinion….
I don’t have an answer to your question but I too have wondered the same thing, how men manage to move on so quickly. Much to my surprise it’s not just the young men but also the older men as well. My neighbors wife of 20+ years passed in December of 2008 and when I spoke to him in May he told me that he had a lady that he was seeing. I had to pass the phone to my boyfriend because I was at a lost for words. I had called him to check on a hurting/grieving husband and much to my surprise he had already moved on just months after burying his wife. Living next door to them for a year I have no doubt from conversation with him that he loved his wife very much but as a woman I have a hard time understanding how he moved on to the next woman so quickly.
do ya girls wanna see us cry? no? that’s why. i got dumped today im sad but im not gonna cry over it. it didn’t work out. so back to the question, we don’t want to be sad around other people.
men are from mars and women are from venus. it’s irritating but true.
I am a male who will put all I can in a relationship. Maybe I’m an exception to your rule, but the end of relationships are very painful to me from an emotional and physical way. The only time I did as you suggested was when I was in the 6th grade and I consider myself quite immature at that age. Unfortunately, both males and females play mind games. I can only answer from personal experiences.
