How to mend a broken heart? How to gain my independence again?

My ex broke up with me three months ago. He was my first bf I’m still upset over it. He’s moved on to a new girl and he broke up with me cause i liked him more than he liked me. I’m also going off to college in the fall. How to i start over? Become independent again?

   sometimes only time can heal you. I once knew a girl who I dated, and then we broke up. Well, actually, I broke up with her. Dumbest thing I have ever done. well, almost the dumbest thing. anyways, time, and maybe try to enjoy life without the weight of a relationship like that.
