Why do white men prefer to date black women?
I just have a quick question. I am a black woman and I’m attracted to all types of men, both inside and outside of my race, although I’ve only dated black men. Recently, I was asked by a very attractive white man if I wanted to go out on a date sometime. I haven’t responded yet, but we did swap numbers and we have talked on the phone a few times. He seems like a very nice and down to earth person that I would really like to get to know better. But, I’m a little hesitant to pursue a relationship, because I’ve been told by close friends that white men only use black women for sex and then dump them "like yesterday’s garbage." On the other hand, I have heard that white men cherish and treat not just black women, but all women nicely. So I was just wondering why white men like black women?Is it all sexual, emotional, both, or does it depend on the person?

We prefer to date who we find attractive. Maybe its the men you are meeting. In my personnal standards, I would date someone i am attracted too, regardless of race.
Some people like their on race, which is a big simalaritie (people look for similarities too have a strong relationship) Anyway..

it depends on the person and the man if he is someone you would be interested in then go for it. Race or color should not matter if you like him then go for it. Good Luck

You know it is like this, people prefer things differently, some like ice-cream and some like chocolates. In your case, he prefer chocolate that’s why he likes you.
It is the person, not the color. I have been there, and it was a mutual feeling. I guess you can ask why do Hispanics date whites and blacks. You see more interracial these days, than 30 years ago.
Do not let it bother you, it is their thing.

Personally i’ve dated both and they all have there own ways no matter what color.I would say yes depending on the person.

Maybe he likes you for YOU. Maybe he thinks you’re cute and it has nothing to do with the color of your skin.

The white men I know are scaared to date outside their race b/c their afraid of what others will think of them. Black men will go after what they want white men will not unless you fit into their world as the trophy wife. your friends are correct if you date a white guy you must becareful. Most whites want to “try you out” b/c of them being curious. I like black men and ricans I’m not interested in white men enough to figure them out.

As a white man who just celebrated his 19th anniversary with his very beautiful black wife, I can only say it depends upon the man. We know their are men out there who just interested in hitting it and moving on and those types will use a white woman like toilet paper just as they’ll treat a black woman like toilet paper. So it depends on the guy but it can happen — good luck
