Sad poem, love it or hate it, tell me what you think?
Deadly sinning
Daddy always said,
You are daddies little girl
But daddy was a sick man
And tried to get you to believe he cared
Everynight,
Mommy and daddy would fight;
And daddies little girl was scared.
But daddy never cared..
Daddy was a mean man;
And he wanted to be feared,
Daddy was a sick man,
Daddy always hit his little girl,
Daddies anger overcame him;
Mommy was scared ,
And tried to calm him down.
But her moves were fatal
Late at night,
Daddy came to his little girl;
And said,
"Dont worry mommy will be okay"
But she knew she saw her final days
One rainy day,
Everything had gone wrong;
Daddy was upset,
And slit her neck,
And that was the end of daddies little girl

well, i am no expert, nor do i read poetry regularly…but reading this makes me think there is something not there. its not whole, or something. i guess because there are facts, but no real emotion shows. it sounds like ferris buellers teacher asking :bueller?bueller?
simple yet moving… it has this dark aura that makes you gloomy. it’s so plain that the words slip through your skin. it’s like a little girl monologuing while holding her barbie doll and then the next scene is just a blood running down the swing…
it’s dark yet calm.
