Would you recommend getting together with someone of a different religion?
I am pretty much against the Bible and Christianity, and consider myself a converting Buddhist. The guy I have feelings for is a devout Christian. He stands for the things I disagree with most. Is this a bad idea?

Not at all. There is no reason a Christian and an atheist can’t have a discussion about their beliefs in life. As long as they respect each other, and both may learn something.
Well, if he is such a devout Christian, then he would not even THINK about dating you…..because he would be unequally yoked.
I’m "unequally yoked" with my husband, because he is not a Christian. And I can promise you….we don’t have a whole lot to talk about anymore, believe me.
If the man is a devout christian, why would he even consider you worthy to be his spouse ?
if he does, how is he a ‘devout’ christian ?
what kind of a christian would disobey His God who teaches NOT to marry a heathen …
If he is a Christian guy, he shouldn’t even be dating you. Christians should be join together with other christians. That’s what the bible teaches.
I can only tell you my experience. My husband was of one religion and I of another. We both believed that our religion that we grew up in was what would save us (maybe if we were good enough and follow all of the rules). Then, we both met Jesus Christ. He is not a religion. He has offered us a personal relationship and forgiveness for our sins. We couldn’t have a better marriage because Jesus is the center of it.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
I would NEVER do it!
