okay so me and my bf well now ex boyfriend were dating for 5 months and I broke up with him because we fought wayy to much like everday for like two months of the realtionship and last month I just broke off completely cause we got in this stupid fight and then later that nite I told him that I wanted to go back out with him and try to fix things ,but he told me that he wanted a break and of course I didnt want that cause I love him and wanted to be with him but soon after that like two weeks later we went to a party and he was there and he seen me dancing with my friend and my ex thought he gave him a look and the. he wanted to fight him and plus he was a little drunk so later that nite he texted me appoligizing and he was telling me be was jealous and that we was sorry and that he wanted to go back out .the. on new years I told him we could go back out and the. told me to wait until drama clears up???I’m like whatttt you said you wanted to go back out and he was like fine and that lasted a day and he said it was to hard and that he wanted to just be friends .now we just talk as friends and I really want him back and but he thinks it’s to hard and too much responsibility ….ughhhh any ideas?!

OK everyone, basically the girl of my dreams broke up with me a while ago. We’re still both in high school. What happened is actually rather trivial.
Basically my problem was that I was far too nice to her from the very start, never forcing her into anything and always trying to be as sweet as possible (think Bruno Mars) xD eventually this killed the love she felt for me and one day she told me she didn’t we were meant for each other but she would still like to be friends.
It tore me apart to hear this from the girl I would give everything for and I haven’t been myself for a while now…
Of course I wasn’t experienced in things like this and I made the mistake of playing the doormat, trying to be nice but constantly being depressed and asking her to come back. I didn’t leave her alone and eventually she had enough. I realized my mistake too late and now we aren’t even friends and she doesn’t seem to care at all. She has stopped talking to me altogether and even blocked me on facebook. (She doesn’t hate me but shes avoiding me whenever it’s possible)
Now I realize my mistakes and I’m leaving her alone for a while. Chances are she won’t get herself into another relationship anytime soon but nevertheless I’m worried I may have done permanent damage to any leftover feelings she may have for me. I’m cutting off all contact with her and taking the time to make myself a more attractive person. I’m also going to give the impression that I’ve moved on even though I still love her.
I’m wondering if this will work at all considering all thats already happened. People tend to want what the can’t have but I’m just extremely unsure whether I’ve killed every bit of affection or care she has for me. Someone please help. Thanks

So me and my ex liked each other for about 4 months. After an argument over why we hardly ever got to see eachother she cut off alot of contact and said she wanted to be friends for now we didnt hate eachother it was just a sort of its the best thing for now move. So we kept talking daily as friends but not near as much. After about 2 weeks she ends up dating her 6 year best friend. I asked her what happend and she said she didnt know. she said it wasnt about me or how i looked or treated her or my personality that it just happend. I was upset but i told her i have no hard feeling that shes with him and that i wish them the best of luck.

Whats weird though is daily if she sees me on facebook she’ll ask me how ive been and whats new and just casual talk as friends. its been 6 days since theyve been together and she still talks to me. But whats weird though is that she didnt change her text signature to his name like she did mine first day we got together. And she doesnt post smiley faces on his facebook like she did mine. Could this just be a rebound relationship for her? Im pretty sure she still does have SOME feelings for me. But the signs ive seen is that she doesnt like him as much as she did me when we got together. And im pretty sure that i wasnt her rebound relationship when we got together. the last guy she talked to was 3 months before me and tried to use her for sex so she kicked him to the door.

Does it sound like shes in a rebound relationship? Im ready to move on but im going to still try to limit contact with her. She ALWAYS initiiates it. My current plan is to start talking to other girls and continue to try to give my ex time while i search for someone. If she comes back before i find anyone ill take her because i still like her. But if i find someone im completely moving on. What does it sound like shes up too? And whats the best thing to do to get her back? Talk to her? Be a close friend? Use no contact? What should i do?

Sorry this is such a long story. My ex and I were together for 2 years we went to college together and run on the same cross country team. We were so in love! We had a bank account together and had a future planned of traveling and running! This summer he broke my heart. He told me that he needed time to be single in college and that he may not feel the same love for me that he used to. So we broke up and for the remainder of the summer we didn’t’t talk and went our separate ways. When school and practiced started in August we started talking again as friends. I started kind of dating another guy on the team and he starting hooking up with a freshman on the team. One day after class we hung out and he asked if he could take me out to dinner. After Dinner he told me he loved me and still wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, but just needed more time. I said I loved him so much and would love a future with him. We continued to hang out as if we were dating again, we said I love you and spent a lot of time together. Then when I asked him to commit he said he wasn’t ready, so I told him I couldn’t talk to him anymore, and that i needed to move on. The next to weeks i completely ignored him and didn’t look at him at all. He wrote me a long love not that said I was the love of his life and he wanted to take me out to dinner to talk. However, last night I found out he had a drunken hookup . I told him it was sad to hear and he said he regretted it. He apologized and told me he was just really confused and doesn’t know what to do, because he wants to get back together but needs more time. Jelousy is consuming me and all I want is to get back together with him. What should I say that would speed up the process? We are going out to dinner very soon.

Me and this girl have liked each other for ages now, she would always comment on my pics, and we would sometimes flirt but we never spoke really or met up, even though we known each other since school and were both 20 now.
She even asked me out at one point but I was like nah, was nervous I guess but we finally met up and she was really excited about it, then we started seing each other but never made it official, we would make out for hours on end and I’d treat her like a princess, she was open to me about how she been cheated numerous times in past, even abused and how she just hates being in love. So she clearly been hurt and its like she giving up or something, she also has sevre anxitey… I just wanted to hold her and take her problems away and I told her that.
After a while though she gets distant, saying how nice it would be if we could work out, or how I’m to good for her like she feels she ain’t worth me?
Next thing I know she is saying she just don’t want anything serious with anyone, and told me not to get attacthed and 3 days after her being beside me, she jumps in relationship with some 30 year old lmao? which that screams to me she is trying to run away from me or something, she even rang me to talk about it, saying how me and her are just different people, and she needs someone that can control her and lived a life like hers???
My mate asked her what happened and she said were just different people its ashame. And were not different people we have like everything in common, and when she was with me she was so lovley and cute around me like I bought out best in her, and she has liked me for ages and so have I, and I don’t understand why she just, switched off on me. The only explaination I can come up with is, she is scared to get close to me, she goes of with some random guy coz with him there is no dissapointments.
Well fast forward a month of zero contact, they break up with her saying to her friends it just didn’t feel right, maybe coz of me?
They broke up on friday and I msg her on fb on monday just to see if she would talk to me…simply saying "Ello you alright x" and she goes "Yeah why wouldn’t I be? x"…I didn’t reply till next day, and that next day she has a status about how she couldn’t sleep, maybe coz of me? Anyway I write back "I dunno, you just come to mind and wanted to see how my fave girl was doing x" and she is like "ohh lol, yeah not to bad thx you x"…then she got sent home from work coz she had a migraine or something, and I just write to her "k nice to hear hun, n if you wanna hang out sometime it be nice x"…and ain’t heard nothing yet. even though she was on fb, and at the end of the night she posted this video to her wall – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHkuFYZgH… – which explains a lot about the situation…I mean the break up with her not feeling right, her not being able to sleep, being sent home from work coz of migraine and that video, is any of that to do with me? is she afraid to get close to me?…or has she just switched off on me all of a sudden and even after all this time liking me, she just ain’t intrested anymore?
