Yesterday, I spoke with a guy I was dating and told him that I felt our friendship was suffering because of our dating. Turns out, when we started dating, I never had the chance for it to turn into anything more than being a sex buddy. My words…not his. Anyway…I feel a little hurt and stupid for not following my gut which told me from jump to remain his friend. Now…not only will we ever hook up but the decision to keep my mouth shut about my feelings for him may have also ruined our friendship. Anyone have any encouraging words for a slightly broken heart/hurt feelings?

I recently got dumped by a boy I had been with for 7 months. I am ok and have been strong and will continue to be strong. I am just wondering how other people deal with it. Are you a boy basher? A friendship maintainer? A cryer? Or are you the type that forgets it ever happened?

I really don’t get why women who reject men or women who dump men then turn around and say "but we can still be friends" or in the case of the horrible friend zone "i don’t see you that way; but we can still be friends" why don’t women understand that to many men, who ask women out a friendship is nothing more than a consolation prize…i mean why the hell would you be friends with a woman if theres no chance of getting sex? They don’t share the same interests as men, they nag, they whine, etc…so whats in it for the guy? The girl uses him for emotional support and to whine about the bad boy thug she is screwing….is it no surprise men don’t want to settle for just friends…and whats with the break ups? You dump a guy romantically and have the NERVE to think he should still want to be your friend? You don’t often see men telling a girl "i don’t want to have sex with you; but lets be friends" or "i don’t see you that way; but id like to use you as an emotional tampon" it only seems to be a WOMAN thing…So why is it women cant understand that if a guy is interested in you he DOESN’T want the consolation prize??

PS NO IM NOT BITTER—I just dont understand this clearly illogical aspect of women.

I want my ex back badly but dont know should I try to be a friend and hope it goes back to the way it was being sweet to her and everything. Or should I just give it time and try in a few months.

My wife recently found out that I was having an emotional affair with another woman via my blackberry and we are thinking of divorce after 14 years of seemingly a normal up/down marriage.

When she confronted me with this I initially lied but confessed 5 mins later after a wave guilt

Poor decision making on my part as I met the younger woman through my job. We went to lunch three times and shared "how doing" and "whats going with you?" type of text messages over a 3/4 month period. The lunches were 1 group lunch and two lunches by ourselves.

My wife asked why.. and I gave her a very honest response of the different type of attention that I received from this other woman was something new and unexpected. I just liked the attention from this pretty woman and purposely hid this from my wife as I knew it was somewhat wrong.

I was never physical with this other woman but it doesn’t seem to matter to my wife much.. I feel like a total scumbag..

My wife questions my true intentions and doubts that we were not physical..I would doubt the same. .. I’ve lost her trust and friendship an want to try get it back..

Thoughts or ideas would be appreciated from today’s biggest Loser.
