I just have a quick question. I am a black woman and I’m attracted to all types of men, both inside and outside of my race, although I’ve only dated black men. Recently, I was asked by a very attractive white man if I wanted to go out on a date sometime. I haven’t responded yet, but we did swap numbers and we have talked on the phone a few times. He seems like a very nice and down to earth person that I would really like to get to know better. But, I’m a little hesitant to pursue a relationship, because I’ve been told by close friends that white men only use black women for sex and then dump them "like yesterday’s garbage." On the other hand, I have heard that white men cherish and treat not just black women, but all women nicely. So I was just wondering why white men like black women? Is it all sexual, emotional, both, or does it depend on the person?
Thanks

ok here is a little background on the situation…
when I met my husband I was a vegetarian. I ate only natural foods, like fresh fruits and veggies and nuts. I ate nothing fake or refined. also when I meet him he was overweight, which I didn’t care I still fell in love. After dating a few months, he started to lose weight and got into shape. Well right around the time we got married he started to gain weight, and now he is obese again. Now as a nurse i see sick people all day and most of them are in poor health because they are overweight and i fear if i don’t intervene, my husband will end up the same way. I want him to become a vegetarian like me and eat only natural foods. nothing refined. but he says he doesn’t think he could make that lifestyle change. And its not that he doesn’t like healthy foods, but he also likes junk foods, meat and processed goodies. what can i say/do to convince him?? It is disgusting the garbage he eats!! I just want him to be healthy, I don’t care how he looks, I will love him regardless.
Thanks!!
