We have been together for almost three years and she has never smoked or drank before now the last few weeks its all she can think about and do. She knows I don’t believe in either of them but wants to take a break to figure out what she wants. What should i do.

i met this lad we got on very well i told him i liked him and he said he wasnt ready for anything as his ex hurt him and he was messed up by what happened. it took me a couple of months but im pretty sure i began to gain his trust, we enjoyed chatting together so much so he would text me everyday to see how i was, what i was up to etc
He had a couple of times when i think he felt unsure and acted a little daft but i would just let him get on with it and he would apologise and we would be ok again.
I never pushed the situation i offered on a few occasions to leave him alone but he told me he didnt want me to.
Then something happened and i felt it best to leave him alone i explained why and said i still cared for him very much, deep down i think i hurt him but he isnt one to admit it,his actions kind of said it all.
He deleted me as a friend on a chat room we went on, he had an argument over nothing with me pointing out things i had done which he referred to as odd, i wrote him a note to say sorry for hurting/annoying him but he didnt respond, when we argued he said he was deleting my number and i told him to crack on, he was quite nasty to me really.
I feel terrible he has spoken by text to me recently i text first and when i asked for another chance he made out he had a girlfriend im not sure if i believe him or not i guess part of me wnats to believe he hasnt.
my gut feeling is that i upset him when i decided to leave him alone when he asked me not to, and now he thinks im as bad as his ex, because otherwise i have no idea what i have done.

I know this is a dating question, but I’m asking in this category because the answer are more mature.

Saturday I buried my cousin who died on my front door step New Years Morning and I hadn’t talked to her much since the day he died (she was at my house when he died).

Yesterday, I text her to tell her I missed her and she kept quoting a line that I posted in a comment on Facebook this week. It started, "I’m single by choice…" Whatever it was, I was in a long dialogue with friends & various relatives. My girlfriend isn’t on my Facebook friends list, but I have it where friends of friends can read my posts. She said that her mom was reading my posts and brought it to her attention.

She kept asking me "are you single by choice." I explained that the conversation wasn’t that serious and I was referring to not being married right now. I also explained that who I’m dating is none of my family’s business on Facebook. My immediate family knows who I’m dating…and if they didn’t before they know now because my cousin died on my front porch the morning she was at my house.

Even after the explanation she wouldn’t let it go. Then she text me later that night and said she wanted to end it, because the relationship isn’t working for her. My response was, "Ok"…then I went to sleep.

She text me later last night and early this morning telling me that she missed me and didn’t want to break up & that she was expecting me to fight for her. My response was, "You didn’t ask my opinion, you told me that you wanted to end the relationship. My response was ‘ok’. If a woman says she doesn’t want to be with me, I usually believe her."

Now she wants to get back together. I’m not sure it’s worth it. I’m 36, and she’s 29, if that has anything to do with it.

Me and my boyfriend were together for a while and inlove. We broke up and straight away (1 week) he got another girlfriend. I read on the internetof using the no contact rule and its gets your ex back. But if i use it while he has a girlfriend will i still work?
