My boyfriend of a year and half and I have decided to break it off. But it wasn’t exactly mutual and it ended pretty badly. I feel so much pain but I really want to do things to keep my mind off of everything thats going on. If theres anyone who can help me out with the names of any good books or great movies to watch during this difficult time, it’d be much appreciated.

i was in a short 2 month relationship with a guy when i was 16 and he was 21. he was very emotionally, verbally, and somewhat sexually abusive. though it only lasted for 2 months before i got the guts to break up with him i still have nightmares that he is comeing for me and its been over a year since i have seen or herd from him. i also have not been able to date because evertime the thought comes up i think about my ex.

are there any good self help books on recovering from a relationship like that?
