Recently, after many months of trying to reconsile our relatinship, me and the woman I really love parted. We talk to each other still, but she pushes me away when she feels like I am trying to suggest the reconsoliation. We had a great relationship but at some point we just started having problems. Nothing works, and I am really frustrated because I love her so much. The idea of her being with someone else just doesn’t fit in my head. If anyone ever been in my shoes, please help. how to get over something like this. I see no way out of my misery.

I have been with this guy on and off for 7 years. We have a 5 year old together. I love him very much though I have every reason not to. He has lied, cheated in the past, done drugs, been arrested for them, and still hangs out with the people he used to do them with even though he is on probation. We would fight every single day over his poor choices and his continual lying.
He told me 2 weeks ago he doesnt love me anymore and that I ruined his family by telling his parents the bad stuff he was up to. He said he would find another girl he doesnt have such a history of doing bad things to. This hurts so bad… I know I shouldnt be with him but no matter how many times I hear that its near impossible to let go. It sounds selfish but its hard for me to see him with another girl because im afraid they will have some great relationship that I tried to have with him but we couldnt cause of his actions.
Why is my heart not healing from this? He has moved on and hasnt looked back…

About a month ago, my Ex and I broke up to see what else was out there. I’m still pretty hurt from it, especially since she told me shes "hanging out" with another guy, who she says is just someone fun and completely different than her normal type. She says she still misses me and that she hasn’t moved on, only that hes a nice guy. If you ask me it sounds like the classic rebound guy… completely different from me and is helping her fill my void.
I called her last week and told her its too hard for me to be her friend, when I still have a tremendous amount of feelings for her. She said if thats what I needed to do then alright, but that she really does want me in her life because im still her best friend. I told her too bad, it was obvious she had moved on in only a matter or a week or two.
Im just curious why rebound relationships involve someone completely different than the last partner. I have my college degree, a good solid job and am only 23 years old. Now shes interested in a 26 year old police man who is covered in tattoos and almost bald. Ladies help me out?

My boyfriend of a year, on January 9, told me the other night that he does not feel the same about me anymore. He says he still cares about me but is confused as to how much he loves me. He also said that he feels like his love for me is fading. I told him I have been feeling the same. He has been spending a lot of time on other things(his band, school, work, helping his friends out) and spending less time with me. But when we do we normally fight about not being able to see each other a lot. And i feel like i need to see him more. Besides him always being busy he is the best boyfriend and an amazing person.We have a great relationship. We trust each other, communicate well, and have never been unfaithful. We both do not want to break up but, he is confused as to what to do since he has never been in this situation- I feel the same. Is there a way that we can become closer again? If so… will it last or will the same situation come up later on down the road?

I don’t understand this. My ex I know he likes me a lot and even though he won’t admit he loves me but he allows this relationship from when he was a teenager still affect him today. He got burned from that relationship and since then everytime a girl gets close to him he freaks and runs. Why does this happen and why can’t he get past it? Why is it is so easy for him walk away?
