I am looking on line and all the poems are sad.. These grandparents are much alive and happy!lol They are not dead or dying…… IF some one please help me with this I would love it!

So, for english class we’re putting together a book of our classes’ favorite poems. So, naturally I need to find one, she gave us some great websites to browse with tons of poems but im not having much luck. Im looking for love poetry… but all I can seem to find is very sad love poems where their lover has left them or they just aren’t together. Does anybody know of any happy love poems? Poems about the power of love, the happiness of love?

I wrote many poems, 46 now.
In many genres like classical styles, sad poems, broken love poems, poems on life, love poems, happy poems, peaceful ones too.

But most of my friends say that they love the love poems.
Like what? Love goes over everything even in poetry?

Sorry about that, I just wanna know; what are your favourite poem genres and why?
