I am 21, my son is 3. He’s been with me since day one. His dad rarely wants anything to do with him, usually only on holidays. It makes me mad that he has a son, and acts like he doesn’t. But on the rare occasions he does see his son (about 4 times in 3 years), he acts so happy to be with him. I just need some advice on whether I should continue to try and pursue a normal father-son relationship, or if I am just beating a dead horse.
One more detail, i NEVER trash talk his father to him. It doesn’t help me any, so i see no point.
