got this from flikr
tears, loneliness, sadness, hope, waiting are the emotions i love in poems
poem1:
She walked down the street, alone. She tried to keep her feet from falling. She let the rain take her away, even if she had a hood on. She found her home, in a park no one knew of. She sat down next to a tree, on the wet grass. She looked back at the sun, & said; "Why do they love me?".
poem2:
thunderous silence
breaks through my thoughts.
What was once many great ideas
is now a triumph, lost.
Baffling words tumble through my mind.
Reflections of darkness hover.
A disturbing peacefulness beckons to me,
and inside myself, I take cover.
What would it be like to stay there forever?
To be lost in all my cares?
From the inside, looking out -
I cry silent tears.

I want everyone to know that I’m not an artist and I’ve never done anything like this or taken any classes. Also I don’t know what this is classified I don’t think its a poem but ohh well here we go. I’m actually an intense athlete, its like against the norm in my opinion but honestly I don’t care. These pieces are completely mine and I have learned that the heart truly speaks a different language than we do, although I cannot translate it, I would like to give it my best shot.
To define love is to understand why two separate hearts yearn to beat as one: to understand why even the flaws of another only draw you closer: to understand why you are one in the world, but the world to (some)one: to invite what is invisible to the eye into the heart: and to understand why letting go sometimes is the only way to make one whole. To understand love is only comprehendible to those who live it because once its their it won’t ever truly leave.
The most misunderstood feeling in the world is love. Love won’t hurt you, what hurts is the hole in your heart where love once resided, thats what truly hurts. Loneliness hurts. Confusion hurts. Emptiness hurts. Questioning oneself hurts. The inability to let go hurts. Love is the remedy.
Love shouldn’t be defined by the actions we take, but by the path taken for those actions that we constitute as love.
Again this is my first time doing anything like this. I would love some feedback, I don’t care if its negative or positive but writing truly has been an outlet for what I can’t have as well as an amazing stress reliever.
