Me and my ex had a really deep and passionate relationship, and the break up was hard for both of us. But we broke up 4 months ago, and after a month and a half he got a new girlfriend who he still has, and I am still single. There are several guys that want to be with me, but I can’t seem to decide if I want to be with any of them. I like them all in different ways. I wasn’t having any thoughts about my ex for a while but then some of his female friends(not his girlfriend though) added me on myspace? Which I still don’t understand, I’m not sure if they are just curious, or if theres something suspicious going on or what. But anyway, them adding me just brought him back into my mind, which I hate. I try to think about other guys but he always pops back into my mind. I feel like the only way to get over him is to have sex with someone and become emotionally involved with them(even though I’m sure that isn’t the best way)… Can anybody help me? It’s been 4 months! I just want to finally be able to say truthfully that I’ve gotten over him.

My girl and I were just fine. Well, we took a short break a month ago, but Thursday she acted like she truly loved me. Then I see she is talking to this guy on myspace, I ask her about it, and eventually (on Friday) she tells me that he is interested in her and vice versa. She brought up the fact that I hadn’t dated many girls and she was nervous about us moving in together because of that. So, she broke up with me. We were together for 2 freaking years and she truly acted like she loved me. Now we are exchanging email and she keeps telling me things like "I find him amusing because he is more outgoing", etc. She say’s while I was close to perfect, she can’t pass up this opportunity with him because the chemistry is amazing. I don’t get it, she hasn’t even met him yet. She hasn’t even met this guy and he is nothing like her. How can she just do this a day after being completely in love with me? I don;t know what to do because I’m so shy and it’s hard for me to meet people. I feel very alone right now. I wasn’t shy with her though, I could be myself with her for some reason and I think I’ll never find anyone like that again.

i friended this girl over myspace and she’s honestly the most beautiful girl i’ve ever seen. i’m normally not into starting a relationship with someone met online, but i’m definitely willing to make an exception.
