it hurts when you love someone and he/she doesn’t love you back isn’t it? but it’s ok, at least i think so. it happened to me over 100 times (exaggerating) but I will fall in love again, I know it. I know she is out there waiting for me. (hey I can write a new poem about this)

I’m doing a project on poetry and I would like to know what your favorite poems are. Just remember that they should be by published authors, not just some random person’s who posted it on the internet. Just breathe
I will not be left alone
This is our love

Dance

I had the chance

I’m not real good at expressing my feelings and I’ve been working on that by writing poems about how I feel. I recently fell out of a relationship that I ruined and that is what this poem is about.

"I’ll be that star watching over you
All the sad songs that you play I will listen to
We had our problems and I went away
And I have regretted that to this day

When your dreams were taken and gone
You and I should have listened to each other
I watched your chin drop
I never saw you smile again

Dark lights keep shining over you
But the tears I made fill your eyes never blinded you
Forgive and forget, I caused you that pain
Could you find it in your heart to love again

So lift your chin up
I want to make you smile again"
